Mathora ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered homework help app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Mathora you agree to this policy.

1. Age Requirement (13+)

Mathora is intended for users 13 years of age or older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us at snapsage.support2@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information — your email address and password (passwords are stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text).
• Homework content — the math problems you type or photograph, and the AI-generated solutions.
• Usage data — number of problems solved, subscription/trial status, and basic app activity used to enforce limits and operate the service.
• Device/technical data — standard technical information needed to deliver the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the core service — reading your problem (OCR) and generating step-by-step solutions.
• To maintain your account, trial, and subscription.
• To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse.
• To operate, secure, and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Service Providers We Share With

We share data only with providers necessary to run Mathora, each bound to protect it:

• Supabase — database and authentication (stores your account and solve history).
• Mathpix — optical character recognition; the image of a problem you snap is sent to Mathpix to extract the math.
• Anthropic (Claude) — generates the solutions; the extracted problem text is sent to Anthropic. It is not used to train their models.
• Apple / RevenueCat — process subscription purchases (we never see your card details).
• Fly.io — application hosting.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app. You may also request deletion by emailing snapsage.support2@gmail.com. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted, and authentication is handled by a dedicated secure provider.

7. Your Rights

You can access, correct (by editing your account), or delete your information. To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or contact snapsage.support2@gmail.com.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
